Facilities Manager
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to manage our multi faceted business at Kilver Court Designer Village. Based in Shepton Mallet, Kilver Court is a set of Victorian mill buildings that have been regenerated to host a designer outlet retail centre, wedding and events venue, public gardens, nursery and restaurants. The successful applicant will come from a retail/ hospitality background with an understanding of managing a working site frequented by the public. Skills and experience required to fulfil the Facilities Manager role: computer literate specifically with Microsoft Office, budget management, oversee projects, IOSH or NEBOSH desired, First Aid at Work, ISO standards, fire safety, hands on building and maintenance knowledge and M&E knowledge. They will be expected to liaise with the landlord, tenants, sub-contractors and local authorities whilst acting as an ambassador for the Village. Accounts Assistant – Part time/Full Time (30-40hrs)
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our small accounts office team, covering Kilver Court and Sharpham Park Farm. We are looking for someone who will take an interest in our very varied business as well as being keen to develop their accounts career. The role will involve your time being split between Kilver Court and Sharpham Park Farm (4 days at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet and 1 day at Sharpham Park Farm near Street). The job role will be varied but will include such role as:

- Credit Control
- Weekly Bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Cash handling
- Purchase Ledger invoice inputting
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Cash Flow Management
- VAT Returns
- Sales Admin Support
- Adhoc reporting and accounts advisory to the wider business team
- Admin and general office support

The successful candidate will have good Excel skills and previous accounts experience. Farming knowledge and Sage experience are of benefit but not essential. Sofa.com Pop Up Showroom Team Members – Kilver Court
Sofa.com  are looking for positive, fun, reliable and hardworking Sales Team Members to join our pop-up team in our new temporary showroom. As a member of our Sales Team you will be the first point of contact with our customers, and will spend your time advising them on the best possible sofa, armchair or bed that suits their needs! You should thrive in a customer service environment, always going above and beyond for our lovely customers. We’re looking for someone who’s ambitious and confident, with a strong can-do attitude who loves working within a team. Some experience in a sales advisor role is desirable but not essential, and it would be a bonus if you have a passion for interior design/art.
