Retail Manager for The Great House and Wiggly Shed
We are looking for an experienced, sales driven retailer to take on the challenging and diverse role of Manager of our homeware/gift/food shop ‘The Great House’ and also our garden shop and plant nursery ‘The Wiggly Shed’ at Kilver Court. This is a shop floor based role; the main purpose of which is to drive sales, direct the team and continue to grow the business. Duties will involve:

- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Applying commercial skills to meet agreed sales targets
- Day to day shop management including setting of rotas
- Motiving and training the team to ensure consistently great customer service
- Implementing and maintaining high retail standards
- Effective store merchandising and visual merchandising
- Working with the merchandiser and buyer to manage deliveries and ensure good stock levels, stock policy and shrinkage
- Identifying areas of weakness and opportunities for new stock lines
- Maximising product margin
- Communicating with a diverse range of brand partners

Hours and Environment:
- This is a full time role, needing flexibility and involving working rota’d weekends and bank holidays

Commis Chef/Kitchen Assistant  
The Sharpham Pantry Restaurant has a new team, a new menu and new management, but we still have a place for a Commis Chef/Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen. We believe in delivering delicious, home-made food using organic and locally sourced products wherever possible, with spelt being at the core of our dishes. We are looking for a Commis Chef who is talented and eager to learn from our experienced Head Chef. The successful candidate will be required to work some weekends but there will be only a few evening shifts. Plant Nursery Retail Assistant
We are looking for a dynamic retail assistant to join our plant nursery, The Wiggly Shed at Kilver Court. This can be a part-time/full-time role, with salary dependent on experience. Operations Manager
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage our multi-faceted business at Kilver Court Designer Village. Based in Shepton Mallet, Kilver Court is a set of Victorian mill buildings that have been regenerated to host a designer outlet retail centre, wedding and events venue, public gardens, nursery and restaurants. The successful applicant will come from a retail/ hospitality background with an understanding of managing a working site frequented by the public. The Facilities management side of the role requires the following skills and experience:
- Computer literate specifically with Microsoft Office
- Building regulations, CDM knowledge, and project & PPM planning
- Budget management, service charge experience desired
- IOSH or NEBOSH desired
- First Aid at work
- ISO9000 standards
- Fire Safety
- Knowledge of hard services
The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with the landlord, tenants, sub-contractors and local authorities whilst acting as an ambassador for the Village. This is an exciting, busy and hands on position with salary subject to experience. Apply to: hayley@kilvercourt.com

Part Time Store Assistant at Rapha
We are looking for an assistant in our Rapha Archive Store. You need to be passionate and somewhat of an expert on road cycling and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. You need to be welcoming and engaging - the perfect Rapha ambassador. As a people person, you’ll be able to uncover our customers’ needs through conversation, and using you product knowledge and cycling experience to build the perfect Rapha solution.

The role requires the following skills and experience:
- 2 years’ experience in a luxury retail environment.
- A passion for delivering legendary customer experiences.
- A proven track record of delivering results and the drive to exceed expectations.
- Strong people skills – a good communicator, approachable and engaging.
- Ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative.
- Passionate about Rapha.
- Ability to be flexible and agile to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of road cycling would be an advantage.
