Kitchen Staff

Do you love the buzz of a busy kitchen? Due to the success and exciting expansion of our catering offering at Kilver Court we are looking for enthusiastic hands-on staff to join our dedicated team. We believe in delivering delicious, home-made food using organic and locally sourced products wherever possible, with spelt being at the core of our dishes. We are  looking for a commis chef who is talented and eager to learn and a kitchen porter to help with busy lunchtimes. Salary dependent on experience.  Few evening shifts. Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed manager to oversee the running of our busy and thriving Pantry Restaurant serving a delicious seasonal menu, based around the finest local ingredients the South West has to offer. You will manage a small team delivering excellent customer service with a smile! With a second food offering on site, the Harlequin Café, this role has the opportunity to develop. You will be responsible for all front of house management ordering and administration and ensuring that our high standards are maintained at all times. Waiting Staff

Plant Nursery Retail Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic retail assistant to join our plant nursery, The Wiggly Shed at Kilver Court. This can be a part-time/full-time role, with salary dependent on experience. Applicants must be flexible and able to work rota'd weekends and some bank holidays. Plant knowledge, excellent customer service and retail experience is essential. Apply to

HR & Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our small accounts office team. We are looking for someone who will take an interest in our very varied business as well as being keen to develop their career. This is a part time role and we are looking to fill between 24 and 30 hours. The job role will be varied but will include such role as:                
- Recruitment admin, placing adverts, collating CVs, ensuring timely completion of recruitment process
- Managing holiday requests
- Ensuring completion of ongoing HR admin for a 70+ workforce
- Timesheet collation
- Payroll preparation
- Starter / leaver admin
- Online submissions, monthly and year end
- Pension admin
- General office duties as detailed by your manager for the needs of the business
The successful candidate will have good Excel skills and previous Admin, Payroll or HR experience is essential. Sage experience is of benefit but not essential. Salary will be dependent on experience. Apply to:

Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage our multi-faceted business at Kilver Court Designer Village. Based in Shepton Mallet, Kilver Court is a set of Victorian mill buildings that have been regenerated to host a designer outlet retail centre, wedding and events venue, public gardens, nursery and restaurants. The successful applicant will come from a retail/ hospitality background with an understanding of managing a working site frequented by the public. The Facilities management side of the role requires the following skills and experience:
- Computer literate specifically with Microsoft Office
- Building regulations, CDM knowledge, and project & PPM planning
- Budget management, service charge experience desired
- IOSH or NEBOSH desired
- First Aid at work
- ISO9000 standards
- Fire Safety
- Knowledge of hard services
The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with the landlord, tenants, sub-contractors and local authorities whilst acting as an ambassador for the Village. This is an exciting, busy and hands on position with salary subject to experience. Apply to:
