Born in Somerset and educated at Millfield, Freddie is the son of Mulberry founder, Roger Saul and ex-Dior model and Mulberry HR Director, Monty. He is the youngest of three boys.

Saul's Design

Freddie began his career with a stint in investment banking in London, before returning to the family's West Country estate in 2010 to follow his passion for sculpture where he launched 'Saul's Design' - a collection of quirky, one-off furniture pieces, using 'upcycled' wood reclaimed from old ballroom floors. Saul's was the first furniture collection to be stocked in Harvey Nichols in the last 20 years and has also been available in Selfridges and Retrouvius in Ladbroke Grove.

Kilver Court

Freddie quite literally 'downed tools' and joined the family business, teaming up with his parents to turn Kilver Court, Mulberry's original headquarters, into the premium designer outlet it is today. Initially taking the position of Brand Director, Freddie was responsible for introducing luxury brands such as Joseph, Margaret Howell, Bamford, Jack Wills and the first Rapha archive store in the UK, to the designer village. After 4 highly successful years, Freddie became CEO in 2015.
