Alice in the Secret Gardens
Head through the looking glass and into the Secret Gardens to find a collection of bronze sculptures inspired by illustrations from the original Alice in Wonderland. What better way to celebrate the 150th anniversay of Lewis Carroll's whimsical masterpiece than discovering Alice, along with the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and more, in the Secret Gardens.
Follow cobbled pathways around the lake, under the viaduct and past waterfalls and find the carefully crafted bronze sculptures.
The statues, on loan from Charmouth based artists Robert Ellis and James Coplestone, have been awarded the much coveted 5 Star Award at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2014 - the highest accolade for a trade stand at the show. Cast in Shepton Mallet, the process of creating these wonderful pieces is entirely British from start to finish.
