Full Time Cafe Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed manager to oversee the running of our Harlequin café.   You will manage a small team producing and delivering simple, fresh, quality food.  Our café is the sister of The Pantry Restaurant and you will have the opportunity to diversify and work in both when required to cover the Pantry Manager.

This role has the opportunity to develop.   You will be responsible for all front of house management and administration and ensuring that our high standards are maintained at all times.  Customer service and satisfaction is of the upmost importance and we are constantly striving to improve and impress. 

 Are you passionate about good honest food and innovative menus? Do you thrive from working independently but still enjoy being a team member? Do you have the solid managerial experience which will inspire and motivate your team? Are you seeking a catering and hospitality role with sociable hours? Do you enjoy working a mixture of weekdays and weekends, between 9am and 6pm?   We also have a developing wedding and events business and there will be opportunity to work occasionally in the evening if desired.   Your salary will be dependent upon on your experience. We offer a staff discount, 21 days holiday excluding bank holidays and a staff development scheme.

Weekend Retail Assistants - The Great House

We are looking for weekend staff to join our retail team at The Great House, Kilver Court. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all shoppers, replenishing and merchandising the shops and assisting with stock deliveries. The hours of work will be 9am-5.30pm. Previous retail experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Sales and Operations Manager - Sharpham Park

Sharpham Park, our sister company, is an organic Spelt farm and mill based in Street, Somerset. As Sales and Operations Manager you will ensure the smooth running of the business on a day to day basis, maximising the development and sales of Sharpham Park products both at home in the UK and to export markets, working closely with a small committed team with the marketing, production and financial roles. This challenging role demands a candidate who can multi task, loves variety and a challenge, ideally will have knowledge of both the organic and food markets, coupled with a solid proven background in sales, operations, export, and growing high end brands. This will be a hands on role and will involve key account management.   Salary subject to experience. Full time / permanent position.

We are looking to recruit dynamic retail assistants for the Great House.  You will have a passion for interiors, food and gifts with excellent customer service skills. Required between 20-40 hours per week to include some weekends on a rota basis The successful applicants will have:
o    Lots of enthusiasm and willingness to learn
o    Retail experience (preferred but not essential)
o    A keen eye for detail
o    Brilliant organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative
o    Excellent sales ability

Pantry Restaurant & Harlequin Cafe Assistants

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the catering team at Kilver Court on a permanent full or part-time basis. This role will involve work in both the Sharpham Pantry and the Harlequin Café, on a mixture of weekdays and weekends, as well as occasional shifts with our events team working on anything from conferences to weddings.  You will be passionate about great food, great drink and great service, with a drive to pass on your enthusiasm and knowledge to our guests, whether they are the first or the hundredth of the day. You will be responsible for ensuring that each of our guests leaves us happy and that our high standards are maintained at all times. This role will provide opportunities for growth within the business for the successful candidate.
